ERP solutions is a factor of supporting business structures

As entrepreneurial structures develop, there are trends in the digitalization of enterprises through the introduction of IT tools and corporate information systems. ERP solutions are designed to automate the resource planning of business structures. The popularity of these systems is growing very quickly, but at the same time there is no clear algorithm for implementation in the structures of small and medium-sized businesses. An ERP system, on the one hand, allows you to quickly collect analytical data and automate business processes, and on the other hand, it is characterized by a high cost of implementation and maintenance. The term ERP itself appeared in the 60s of the last century. It was used for a class of MRP systems intended for planning materials in production, and later also resources. Gartner was looking for ways to apply these approaches to other industries in the early 1990s. It was in these works that the term ERP first appeared.
