ESG principles: an objective need for implementation

The article is devoted to the global trends of our time - sustainable development and ESG principles. Modern realities have developed in such a way that humanity is on the verge of an ecological disaster. Mankind itself consciously approached the fact that the attitude towards the planet should be changed, it is necessary to switch to the principles of not only lean production, but also the restoration of the damage already done to nature. The author concluded that the need to implement the principles cannot be denied, and that the Russian Federation lags behind the developed countries in the world in terms of the implementation of ESG principles.
