Again about water quality, bioindication and environmental regulation of anthropogenic impact on hydroecosystems lowland reservoirs

Biological assessment of water quality of the Middle and Lower Volga and the problems of regulation of impacts on aquatic ecosystems are discussed. Examples of bioindication of parameters of water quality on the oligochaeta communities and benthic invertebrates in general are given. Features of the existing methods for the development of standards for acceptable impact on the environment and the allowable discharge of wastewater are discussed.
