The paper considers the fertility, mortality, marriage, and divorce rates of the Komi ASSR population during the Great Patriotic War by months. Due to the high temporal detailing of the data, it was possible to better describe the changes in the natural movement of the population that occurred during the war. Data from 1940 and 1946 are also provided for comparative analysis. It is shown that the peak of mortality occurred in December 1941 – May 1944. At the same time, infant mortality by mid-1944 became lower than in the pre-war period. The birth rate began to decline in April 1942, and returned to the pre-war level only in the second half of 1946. There was a short-term increase in the marriage rate in the first months of the war, and in divorce rate - in July 1944, when a decree was adopted complicating the divorce procedure. The results obtained make it possible to assess the impact of population mobilization, military operations and state demographic policy measures on the dynamics of natural population movement indicators.
