Natural and positive law: prospects for overcoming contradictions

Introduction: the article questions the relationship between natural law theory and positive law theory. At the same time, one of the main research tasks is to determine the possibility of synthesis of the indicated theories, as well as to determine the specifics and essence of contradictions between them. The article studies and compares natural-legal and positive-legal theories, analyses the main criticisms against them. The peculiarities of modern legal practice are considered from the point of view of the moment of access to natural and positive legal developments. Materials and Methods: the work involved classical popular scientific methods of analysis, synthesis and derivation, as well as generalization. In addition, a dialectical approach was adopted at some stages of the study.
