The specificity of human biological adaptation as a form of its evolutionary development is shown, the psychological aspects of the adaptation process as a mechanism to human mental homeostasis achievement as a result of the primary and secondary need satisfaction are revealed, philosophical view associated with the dialectical nature of the adaptation phenomenon representing the unity of the natural and social aspects is substantiated.
