Eurasia and China

The article deals with the problems of formation and development of The Eurasian Economic Union, its relations with The People's Republic of China. We have revealed the potential opportunities for cooperation between EAEU countries and China, their economy, demographic structure, history of interaction, science and technology. The article draws attention to identification of Russia's role in EAEU formation and development. We have showed the factors and forms of economic interaction, primarily in the sphere of foreign trade (volume of trade turnover, its structure, trends and difficulties), investment cooperation (priorities, fields and competition), features of economic cooperation in the border regions of China and Russia; highlighted the interaction of China and The EAEU in military and technical sphere, its stages, sphere, and forms (arming, transfer of licenses for production of military equipment, military training, joint military exercise, exchange of military delegations, consultations, etc.).
