Eurasian image of Russia: new opportunities and prospects

This article discusses the role of the Eurasian idea in the modern concept of Russia’s branding. The author emphasizes that branding strategy should be based on Russian national idea, to have social and cultural principles. However, to implement this strategy in Russia today there is no consensus on the content of the Russian idea that could be broadcasted through communication channels. The author believes that Russia's eastward rotation makes very important the development and revival of the Eurasian idea in Russia. Russia being a bridge between Europe and Asia, a civilization at the turn of cultures, which is facing in his creative political dialogue as to the world of the East, so to the West world, is close and clear both to the Russians and to the foreign audience. In this one can see a civilizational mission of our culture, and a positive foreign-policy image of the Russian state.
