Eurasian Economic Union and WIPO: organizational and legal mechanism of interaction

The article discusses the key elements of interaction between the EAEU and WIPO. Particular attention is paid to areas and forms of cooperation. The authors substantiate that the cooperation of the EAEU represented by the Eurasian Economic Commission and WIPO has a subsidiary character in relation to cooperation with the organization of the Union member states. The article proves the thesis that the agenda of interaction between the EAEU and WIPO in the conditions of the Fourth Industrial Revolution involves not only improving the system and intellectual property rights, but also promoting the development of the innovation system. The authors draw a conclusion about the incompleteness of the functioning organizational mechanism of the EAEU - WIPO and put forward proposals for its improvement.
