Jewish autonomous region: history of settling and administrative-territorial structure

The article considers the history of the Jewish Autonomous Region, its administrative and territorial structure, alteration of boundaries of the autonomy and its municipalities, the migration of Jewish population in the Far East. It is based on a systematic study of archival documents, books, articles and speeches of scientists and economic leaders of the country and the region. The author also used the data from «Tribune»- the magazine published in the 30s of the last century.
