Europe and Russia: interrelations in the last quarter of the century

The article discusses the problems of interrelations between Europe and Russia in the last quarter of the century. The errors are highlighted, according to the author, they have been made by the European states towards Russia. Among them there are ignoring Russia as a natural part of Europe; underestimation of the consequences of the collapse of the USSR; demonstration of peripheral status of Russia; the underestimation of the strategic potential of the European-Russian cooperation etc.
