Factor analysis and data clusterization of the engineering infrastructure condition of the Russian Federation subjects' rural territories

The article discusses the possibilities of using factor analysis to analyze regional statistics on the engineering infrastructure condition of the Russian Federation subjects’ rural territories and their further clustering using the capabilities of the analytical application Deductor Studio. Factor analysis ensured a decrease in the dimensionality of the data by combining them into two factors. Based on the results of the cluster analysis, a typology was carried out and groups of regions with similar characteristics were obtained.
