Factor analysis of the level of economic crime in the Russian Federation

Within the framework of this work, the essence of economic crimes is determined, the main consequences of their commission are established, and an assessment of the situation with economic crime in Russia in modern conditions is carried out. Based on the application of economic and statistical methods, the influence of factors on the level of economic crime in the Russian Federation is estimated. A factor analysis was carried out, which made it possible to identify indicators of the country’s development that have both a positive and negative impact on economic crime in Russia. A forecast assessment for the next five years has been carried out. The results of the study made it possible to formulate measures that will provide an opportunity to effectively combat crimes in the economic sphere.
