Factors influencing accessibility of sports facilities in a region

The institution of sport is an available source for solving a broad range of social problems. The paper presents the results of the sociological study > Accessibility of Sports Complexes Services in the City of Saransk» (N = 379) conducted by the state-funded institution of NCSEM among parents of students of the city secondary schools. It has revealed the importance of the territorial, economic, and informational factors of sports institutions' accessibility. The paper reveals the correlation between the level of family well-being and attendance of sports facilities by children.
