The article deals with specific features of the regional identity of inhabitants of the multiethnic region. The authors define the main factors of the regional identity formation of the Krasnodar Territory residents, which are: multiethnic structure of the region, location, specific economic development, the Cossacks, and activities of the regional authorities.
