Factors of modern environmental conditions of the floodplain-channel landscape complexes in the middle course of the Amur river

The paper considers the natural and anthropogenic factors that determine the modern development processes and the state of the floodplain-channel complexes in the south of the Far East of Russia. Natural factors are represented by channel processes, features of the hydrological regime of rivers, slope processes on the sides of the valleys. The anthropogenic factors characteristic for the territory in question include hydraulic structures (mainly damming dams), urbanization of floodplain-channel complexes, development of placers, and agricultural amelioration in river valleys.
