Factors and mechanisms for preserving sovereignty of European microstates

The article examines the ways and factors that allow microstates to maintain their own independence. Considering the cases of Liechtenstein, Monaco, and San Marino, the author analyzes the reasons why microstates not only do not disappear from the political maps, but also actively develop without fear of aggression from their neighbors.
