The article presents the importance of profitability as a factor in the formation of profit, a classification of profitability factors is given, the factors of each group are listed and their influence on the amount of profit is indicated. The fluctuation of the indicators of profitability of agricultural production over the years as a result of changes in the cost and sale price of crop production is noted, reserves for increasing profitability are given.
