Economic security factors: classification approach to information sources

In the article, the authors substantiate the relevance of the classification approach to the study of economic security, which provides for a comprehensive study of threats to its condition, which are destabilizing in nature and can harm the existence of an object as a whole. It is revealed that the main types of threats to the economic security of economic agents can be ordered according to various criteria: the degree and duration of exposure, the systematic manifestation, the magnitude of losses, the level of controllability, sources and areas of occurrence. The expediency of their differentiation on the basis of the existing cycles of the system of sectoral management of economic agents, as well as the hierarchical structuring of external and internal threats to economic security corresponding to the hierarchical model of the environment of socio-economic systems is studied. The conducted research confirms the rationality of simultaneous use of hierarchical and facet classification of threat factors and factors-guarantors of economic security, which will further develop a management system aimed at developing anticipatory impacts.
