Factors of interethnic consolidation in the context of migration processes

The paper considers the factors of interethnic consolidation in the Republic of Mordovia in the context of migration challenges. For the analysis of interethnic consolidation an integrative index of consolidation was developed, the social distance in relation to peoples traditionally living on the territory of Mordovia and peoples of the former USSR countries was measured, and the attitude of the inhabitants of the Republic of Mordovia to foreign labor migrants was revealed.
