Alienation factors in humanistic philosophy of E. Fromm

The article deals with the problem of human alienation from contemporary culture. A person feels healthy and active only being a part of any community, whether they are family, nation, state or other naturally formed group. Therefore, each individual is consciously or subconsciously in one form or another assimilates with the external existence conditions. The authors consider that a person has an alternative: either flight for the possession of new items, or improvement in the field of spiritual values.
