Pathogenic factors of parasitic protozoa (review)

The authors presented the data of literature and own investigations on different pathogenic factors of parasitic protozoa (toxoplasm, babezia, trypanosome, amoeba, leishmania, malarial plasmodia, sarcosporidium). The molecular mechanism of action of pathogenic factors (cytoadhesiveness, hyaluronidase, enzymes complex, haemolytic and immunotropistic and other) on cells and tissues of different animals organs are considered. The toxicity of parasitic protozoa of different species were characterized. The practical significance of estimation of pathogenic factors in parasitology was emphasized.
