Recently, in most countries of the world, obesity-associated CVDs are one of the most important medical and social problems. In pediatric practice, the negative contribution of excess fat deposition to the occurrence, course and outcome of diseases associated with its complications is often underestimated. While more than half of cases of adult obesity, which debuted in childhood and adolescence, subsequently significantly increases the risk of death from cardiovascular complications, even with normal body weight. Despite this, in pediatric practice, unified clinical and metabolic markers of CVS damage have not yet been established, and the features of the structural-geometric rearrangement of the myocardium in patients with excessive fat deposition have not been studied. At the same time, the progression of cardiac remodeling processes without adequate drug correction subsequently leads to irreversible pathomorphological changes in the heart and blood vessels and, as a consequence, to the "rejuvenation" of all diseases of the circulatory system.
