The consequence of a significant reduction in investment resources in the electric power industry was the reduction of capital investments in the industry. Internal reserves of the industry even for simple reproduction are insufficient, as organizations have actively used the possible directions of cost optimization over the past decade. Therefore, it is proposed to direct investments in priority areas, which are factors of restraining the development of the industry.
