The article is devoted to the features of the implementation of mergers and acquisitions of multinationals in the consumer sector in the world market. The study concentrates on changes in the external environment of TNCs in the consumer sector. The factors that contributed to the dynamic development of the global market for mergers and acquisitions in the consumer market over the past years are identified. Based on modern theoretical approaches, the characteristics of successful mergers of consumer goods TNCs are considered. Strategies for the implementation of mergers and acquisitions of TNCs in the consumer sector are researched.
