Factors influencing on metastasis into parasternal lymph nodes in central breast cancer

Factors influencing on the frequency of breast cancer metastasis into parasternal lymph collector were analyzed for 118 patients. Involvement of parasternal lymph nodes was diagnosed in 19 (16,1 %) of patients. Significant effect of the number of involved axillary lymph nodes on the detection frequency of metastases in parasteral lymph nodes and reduction in survival rate of these patients were found.
