Factors of the impact of digitalization on the tourism business

The article considers the factors of the influence of digitalization on the tourism business. It is established that for the success of tourism companies, making gradual changes to traditional business models is not enough, and one of the solutions is the introduction of digital innovations with simultaneous digitization of core assets. It has been found out that an increasing proportion of tourism companies use big data to generate revenue. It is proved that their monetization occurs by creating greater value of a travel company for customers and businesses through the development of new business models, the creation of pools of companies from related industries that use data to provide new services, new directions and types of tourist services, and improve their quality. It is determined that every year a new direction of big data is developing more rapidly - the introduction of the results of predictive models into the system of state regulation of tourism. Government agencies in the field of tourism have long appreciated the importance of owning large amounts of information. Now that it is possible to manage them, states have received a tool for the effective use of big data in order to build safer tourism, improve administrative functions, forecast and reduce government spending on the tourism sector.
