Fandoms and fanfics: creative practices on virtual platforms

The article is dedicated to the analysis of fandoms and fanfiction - the topical phenomena of the In­ternet. The results of the survey conducted by the authors revealed the motivations and sociocultural parame­ters of some creators and recipients of fanfiction using the popular blogging platform diary.ru. Thematic and communicative character of fandoms was also considered. Through the example of fandoms focused on pop­ular foreign series the trends of development of the Internet creativity are traced, as well as its transformation from imitation of popular series and fiction to readers' interpretation of classical heritage.
