The fantastic perception of the architectural images of Venice in the Russian culture of the late XVIII - XX centuries

The article is devoted to the study of the interpretation of Venetian architecture in Russian culture. The purpose of the article is to substantiate the semiotic specificity and cultural significance of the images of the architecture of Venice. The study is carried out using a comprehensive systematic approach, through the analysis, including comparative, of works in the chronological framework of the XVIII-XX centuries. The interdisciplinary nature of the text, at the junction of several scientific disciplines: cultural studies, art history, philosophy, aesthetics, is determined by the specifics of the stated topic. The architectural images of Venice are interpreted as a single, but multi-component structure. A certain cultural code of the city is the embodiment of the traditions of classical Italian culture, which go beyond belonging to a certain ethnic, historical and social structure. Based on these characteristics, the proof of the fantastic perception and timeless international interpretations of Venetian architecture is built. The results obtained are summarized in conclusions that explain the philosophy of creativity of authors belonging to the widest possible sphere of culture. The fantastic sound that dominates the display of Venetian architecture is objective from a culturological perspective, since it is in this way that it is possible to authentically reveal the essence of the “ghost” city, as well as to fully reflect its history, way of life, philosophical-religious, spiritual-aesthetic content, which has a timeless meaning for both European and domestic culture.
