The pharmacotherapeutic effectiveness of the herbal medicine "Polynoophyt" in the correction of hepatotoxic action of thiopental sodium salt

The main content of these experimental investigation was the studying of the pharmacotherapeutic effect of complex herbal medicine «Polynoophyt» while using the thiopental sodium salt in regimen of anesthetic action (40 mg/kg). The hepatotoxicity of thiopental sodium salt was proved by registration of typical changes of some biochemical parameters, which testify to cytolysis induction of hepatocytes, cholestasis development, and also the intensification of lipid peroxidation in the liver tissue. It was also established the presence of expressed pharmacological antihepatotoxic activity of «Polynoophyt» in case of its use in therapeutical dose 7ml/kg, which results in positive dynamics of changes of biochemical parameters.
