The spider fauna of the southern taiga subzone of the West Siberia is critically reviewed. The regional list is corrected and supplemented with 40 additional species new to southern taiga subzone. Thirty seven species are new to spider fauna of the West Siberian, including nine species (Centromerus brevivulvatus Dahl, 1912, C. persimilis (O.P.-Cambridge, 1912), Dicymbium tibiale (Blackwall, 1836), Macrargus carpenteri (O.P-Cambridge, 1894), Megalepthyphantes pseudocollinus Saaristo, 1997, Ozyptila pullata (Thorell, 1875), Tapinocyba biscissa (O.P.-Cambridge, 1872), Tapinopa longidens (Wider, 1834), Theonoe minutissima (O.P.Cambridge, 1879)) new to the Siberian fauna. A complete species list of the spider fauna of studied subzone has been compiled (350 species). Original and references data on species biotopical distribution is summarized. Four undetermined species, Clubiona sp., Maro sp., Theridion cf. innocuum Thorell, 1875 and Walckenaeria cf. clavipalpe Millidge, 1983, are illustrated. New synonym was suggested for Xysticus robustus strandianus Ermolajev, 1937 syn.n. = Xysticus robustus (Hahn, 1833). The taxonomical composition of the spider fauna of southern taiga subzone is discussed.
