Sandpipers in the vicinity of Anadyr (Chukotka, Russia) in spring migration period

In 1996-2001, 20 sandpipers species were recorded during the spring migration period (May - June) in the vicinity of Anadyr town (Chukotka, Russia). 11 species are nests supposition, the rest are related to migrants or indeterminate status. Arenaria interpres, Philomachus pugnax, Calidris temminckii and Calidris alpina was the most numerous birds in studies period.
