Phenomenon of banditism: criminal-legal and criminological aspects

In the process of modification of crime in modern realities, the subject of crime is looking for new ways to evade justice, resorting to various methods of deception, subterfuge, finding complex tactics of committing socially dangerous acts. The article is devoted to the study of the phenomenon of banditism with a focus on criminal-legal and criminological aspects. The paper analyzes the basic concepts related to banditism, its causes and consequences, as well as the role of organized crime in modern society. Special attention is paid to the classification of types of banditism and their legal definition within the framework of criminal legislation. The modern approach to preventing and combating banditism, as well as the influence of socio-economic factors on its spread are investigated. A comparative analysis of criminal legislation of different countries is carried out, which allows to identify common trends and differences in approaches to solving the problem of banditry. The conclusions of the study emphasize the need for a comprehensive approach in studying this problem, as well as the development of effective measures to minimize the risks associated with gangsterism, both at the level of legislation and in the framework of socio-cultural policy. The article is intended to draw attention to the relevance of the problem of banditry and the need for further research in this area.
