The Eurasian phenomenon

The article reassesses the philosophical status and ideological legacy of the classic works proclaiming the «Eurasian idea». It examines the multidisciplinary nature of Eurasian accounts and examines them as both a spiritual and practical phenomenon. The author argues that its diffusion throughout inner and outer Eurasia is both viable and worthwhile. The author pays special attention to the geographical, anthropological, social and humanistic aspects that provoked the examination of specifically «Eurasian» problems. In addition, the author gives concrete examples relating to the theory and practice of the «Eurasian process» throughout the various historical formations of Eurasian culture.
