Phenomenon of economic miracle: history and prospects for development

The article discusses the economic term - "economic miracle." Based on the analysis of data from a number of European and Asian countries for the second half of the 20th century, growth factors of their economies are considered. In Germany, economic reforms are associated with Ludwig Erhard and his ideas that the state is obliged to intervene in economic processes, but the intervention should be aimed at protecting and supporting the free market. Japan is characterized by a special mentality and the help of US economists. It is proved that in the modern world economic miracles are unlikely, but there are growth prerequisites for countries with large mineral reserves and human potential.
