The phenomenon of cultural memory in the space of Russian cinema

The article is devoted to clarifying the nature of the functioning of cultural memory in cinematic texts. Using the example of the feature film "Officers" (1971), such elements of cultural and historical memory as the value dominants of Russian culture, the model of collective identity, and a sense of belonging to a common historical experience are analyzed. It is noted that the analyzed cinematic text creates a space of so-called semantic declarative cultural memory.
