The article, which does not pretend to comprehensive coverage of such a voluminous scientific topic, considers only one topical issue - the reflection of some characteristic features of the formation in different, including emergency, in particular forced resettlement, conditions of the mentality of the Russian society. In this regard, the question of how this problem was perceived by society, reflected in the documents of the information structures of state intelligence services in the 1920s and early 1930s, is of interest. Relevance. It is determined by a number of significant factors, primarily by the need for objective, reliable coverage and assessment of Russia's historical experience.
