The phenomenon of death in the context of personal fulfillment

This article examines the phenomenon of death as a necessary existential aspect of philosophical thinking, which helps to rank the values in the personal authentic sociocultural experience. Studying the case of Russian existentialism in works of L. Shestov the author reveals the meaning-making resources of human appealing to the limits of his existence, to the finitude of being, which intensifies to the maximum extent the inner personal development, provides a holistic vision of personal life aspirations.
