A phenomenon of the soviet woman or feature of gender system of the soviet period

In this article it is told about the genesis of gender system in the Soviet Period, about the uniqueness of the phenomenon of a Soviet woman, about its positive and negative sides. It is underlined that Soviet programme of gender emancipation had both conceptional and practical problems. The changes of gender system in the Soviet society didn't help to overcome the submitted status of a woman in the system of social relations, but it was the ground on which the phenomenon of a Soviet woman appeared, which influences greatly modern Russian women as well.
