The phenomenon of codependency in social psychology

This research paper discusses current issues concerning such psychological phenomenon as co-dependence. The main common forms of addiction are listed. The peculiarities in the behavior of co-dependent families that lead to negative consequences are presented in the table. The Relationships within the family, due to which the psychological characteristics of the close people are highlighted in more detail. On the basis of scientific research addictions that contribute to further addictive behavior of the addicted person are revealed.
