The branch of the Institute of Cardiology The Tyumen Cardiologic Centre has two scientific departments: clinical cardiology which includes urgent cardiology, arterial hypertension and coronary insufficiency and instrumental methods of investigation which includes instrumental diagnosis laboratory, cardiac rhythm disturbances, epidemiology and prevention of cardiovascular diseases; it also has clinics with 200 beds. Studying fundamental appropriatenesses of cardiovascular pathology development is performed in the branch. The development and incalculation of new diagnosis methods, treatment and prevention of cardiovascular diseases in the West Siberia population are ongoing.
