The branch of the university chair as a form of cooperation and ensuring the practice-oriented education in the training of highly qualified personnel for the library and information sphere of Belarus

The article discusses the experience of the Faculty of Information and Document Communications of the Belarusian State University of Culture and Arts in the field of creating branches of the university chairs on the basis of libraries, describes the areas of activity that are implemented in the branches during training in the specialty of library and information sciences.
