In this article, the philosophy of language of Aleksey A. Kozlov is analyzed. Based on Kozlov's Platonic dialogs, his views about the language of philosophy and the relationship between philosophical language and “ordinary language” are dissected. The dialogs of Kozlov contain an original conception of the language of philosophy and even formulate a plan for its development in Russia. Kozlov's own philosophical language is also analyzed, based on the materials in his Dialogue with the Socrates of St. Petersburg.
