Philosophy as a space of free thought

The article deals with the comprehension as an ability, through which a person realizes own being and the world around. The problem of comprehension is considered as a process of qualitative transformation of the personality. The authors analyze the non-standard attitude of M.K. Mamardashvili to the comprehension as a certain mystery available to a particular person, since no one can comprehend for him, but he himself. Moreover, the comprehension is discussed as a "condition of work with consciousness".
