Philosophy of science and mathematics

The article substantiates the idea that mathematic methods applied in various sciences allow revealing structural generality of laws governing description of phenomena and processes in which these laws are effective. In the author’s opinion, the mathematics’ relevance for natural, social sciences and the humanities is determined by the fact that mathematic models are general and sufficiently accurate unlike more vague qualitative models typical for the pre-mathematic stage of the particular science development.
