Philosophy of the new economic paradigm

It is shown that the development of the methodology of economics is carried out in close connection with research in the field ofphilosophy of science. The principles of utility and rationality which have long been accepted as necessary and obvious economic postulates are opposed to the approach of behavioral economics. The prerequisites for the rejection of the concept of homo economicus and for the related evolution of attitudes towards subjects of economics and management are analyzed.
