The philosophy of the school Tindai - Tendai

In the article it has been taken attempt to give survey of the school Tindai-Teridai and to define the role in the history of Japanese Buddhism. The most impotent sutra of Mahayana Buddhism, the Lotus sutra was revealed in this work. The author considers activity of founders of the school Chii and Saicho.
