Philosophical aspects of oncological diseases. Prevention techniques

This article deals with the problem of widespread cancer and related deaths in Russia and Chelyabinsk. Philosophical and scientific works dealing with oncology and cancer have been analyzed, approaches to oncological diseases have been identified. The work uses the results of a sociological study conducted by the authors using the survey method among the population of Chelyabinsk. On their basis, the role of prevention in the fight against cancer has been identified.
