This article describes the philosophical views of Michail I. Karinsky (1840-1917),professor of the Saint-Petersburg Theological Academy. It demonstrates the connec-tion of his views with the traditions of philosophical process in theological academiesand detects the origins and parallels of the philosophy of M. I. Karinsky: ancient Greek thoughts of Anaximander, Plato, Aristotle and Neo-Kantian theories. Karin-sky provides original interpretation of some concepts of logic doctrines, such asthe self-evident truths, aggregate. It raises the question of anticipation by Karinskyof teachings about the occurrences, phenomenology as a kind of skepticism.
