Philosophical analysis of the human prospects in the hi-tech world

The article focuses on the problems of crisis of humanism, trans-humanism and post-humanism in the evolutionary perspective. High technologies make possible a socio-natural transition of life to artificial life forms. Postmodern society has changed dramatically and has become technogenic; relying on science, it replaces the biosphere living world by post-biosphere realities. Taking this into consideration we need a critical approach to the existing philosophical, ethical and anthropological paradigms and understanding of the cognitive status of a man, his essence and basics of his spiritual and physical existence. High technologies may have a negative impact on the social-cultural environment and individuals themselves, their bio-social nature and spiritual beliefs; it becomes more apparent when an individual becomes the object of manipulations: the line between a machine and a human becomes blurred (biotechnologies); a human is considered as a bioengineering system (genetic engineering) and a socio-engineering system (high-hume technologies); human’s consciousness and body are interpreted as purely technological objects (projecting of “eternal life” as an analogue simulation of the problem of “saving” and “downloading” of subjectivity); dehumanization of corporeity, its replacement by “information keeper” and “data storage”; body- modification as an improvement of a human body by means of chips and implants.
